Accessibility Statement
The Center for the Performing Arts comprising the Palladium, the Tarkington, and the Studio Theater, is fully ADA compliant. Each venue provides barrier-free access and ADA compliant accessible seating for patrons. All restrooms on the Center’s campus are fully ADA compliant. In addition, a listening-assist system is available in each venue.

To ensure ADA compliance, the Center engaged the services of attorney Gregory S. Fehribach with the firm of Doninger Tuohy & Bailey, LLP, to serve as a consultant during the Center’s design and construction phase. As a person with a disability who uses an electric wheelchair as a mobility aid device, Mr. Fehribach specializes in ADA compliance and is a leading consultant on accessible design. On the website for The Fehribach Group, the following statement appears within the portfolio section for the Arts:

The Center for Performing Arts
The Fehribach Group provided consultation on the newest arts venue in central Indiana. The City of Carmel’s Performing Arts Center features three distinct venues: The Palladium, The Tarkington Theater and the Studio Theater. The Center provides a range of fully accessible amenities at all three locations, including paths of travel, lines of sight, restrooms, and varying price point options.

The term for the engagement of Mr. Fehribach’s services was April 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011. As reflected in the statement above, the scope of his work included all three venues at the Center: the Palladium, the Tarkington and the Studio Theater.
