Broadway’s cherished musical by the talented duo of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe based upon George Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion” is the perfect combination of poignant story and brilliant score. The show tells of Eliza Doolittle, a coarse little flower girl in 1910 London and her transformation from a poor Cockney ‘guttersnipe’ into a refined lady. She is taken under the wing of Professor Henry Higgins, a phonetics expert, who bets his fellow linguist Colonel Pickering that he can pass Eliza off as a high society debutante in a matter of months simply by teaching her proper English. Presented concert-style with a live orchestra on stage, this Tony Award winner includes such memorable numbers as “I Could Have Danced All Night”, “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “The Rain in Spain.”

“Sterling songs that elevate the spirits.” – Variety
