| Welcome to the inaugural production of the Indianapolis Children’s Theatre. Operating under the auspices of the Indianapolis Civic Theatre and building on nearly 70 years of theatre education programming for youth, the Indianapolis Children’s Theatre will bring quality, locally-produced professional theatre for young audiences to central Indiana and beyond.
By utilizing the best local talent and observing the highest standards of theatre production, the Indianapolis Children’s Theatre will produce engaging material that will promote creative learning opportunities for students of all ages and their families. All of the productions will feature professionally trained actors in fully-staged presentations designed and directed by a professional artistic staff.
This year’s production of SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! will be presented on stage at the Indianapolis Civic Theatre, providing a unique, live theatrical experience for audiences of all ages. The 500-seat theatre, centrally-located on the campus of Marian University, offers state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems in a comfortable auditorium – perfect for even our youngest patrons.
