Join us for this INCREDIBLE summer opportunity with Civic's Young Artists Program!
This summer intensive includes a hybrid of virtual and in person pre-professional training:
- 7 Broadway Master Classes with BROADWAY PROFESSIONALS
- Two group numbers of original Broadway choreography learned and performed together in production with Riverbend Production
- Civic Instructors Anne Beck and Trevor Fanning
- Private or semi-private vocal coaching in person at Civic Theatre with safety protocols in place for all
- An exciting performance opportunity on the Carter Green lawn at Civic with choreographer Kenny Shepard*
- A virtual link to a collection of all performances we create and record over three weeks.
This is an opportunity you won't get anywhere else and you don't want to miss it! The summer intensive will take place Mondays - Thursdays, in the evenings, for three weeks.
Intensive Dates: 6-9, JULY 13-16, JULY 20-23
Cost: $250
Ages: Incoming high school freshman to graduated seniors
*pending approval by the city of Carmel
Basic Daily Schedule
MASTER CLASS MONDAYS: 6:00-8:45pm
INTENSIVE TUESDAYS: 6:00-8:00pm
WORK ON IT WEDNESDAYS: 6:00-8:00pm
IN PERSON THURSDAYS: 6:00-9:00 in person, but in small groups
Detailed Intensive Format
Mondays: TWO Broadway master classes 6-7pm and 7:15-8:45pm on ZOOM
Tuesdays: Learn group choreo from Anne and group Music from Trevor via ZOOM
Wednesdays: Continue choreo from Anne and Music from Trevor
Thursdays: small group work in person in Smith Hall. *(max 4 at a time)*
