Why Donate?
When you contribute to Civic Theatre, you are providing the essential support necessary for Civic to provide 50,000 opportunities on the stage, in the classroom, behind the scenes and in the audience to community members every year.
While crucial, ticket sales and class tuition only cover half of our annual operating expenses. We rely on the generosity of our dedicated audience - individuals like you - to bridge this financial gap. Every contribution, no matter the size helps us bring the magic of theatre to life for all to enjoy.
Support Civic's Productions
Each season, Civic produces five MainStage shows and four children's productions for a total of 90 performances. By bringing together the best of local and regional theatre professionals with high quality volunteer talent, Civic is able to direct its resources into framing each avocational performer with the most up-to-date theatre techniques, technology, and facilities, effectively minimizing overhead costs while maximizing the participant's experience
Support Arts Education and Outreach
Civic provides a broad range (100+ class offerings) of performing arts workshops for students, ages 18 months and older, with formal written evaluations, advanced levels of study, ties to academic standards, and established professionals as instructors. Civic’s philosophy is to create a superior performer through proper technique and intensive study. This approach promotes meaningful and lasting change in the life of each student, whether or not they pursue a career in the performing arts.
Support Civic's Education Scholarship Fund!
At Civic Theatre, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the arts. The Civic Education Scholarship Fund ensures that children from low-income families can participate in our Jr. Civic and YAP classes and camps, regardless of their financial situation.
Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch are eligible to receive financial assistance from this fund, allowing them to participate in our programs at no cost. By contributing to the Civic Education Scholarship Fund, you are not only helping to cover the costs of classes and camps but also investing in the potential of underserved children who might not have the opportunity to explore their talents and passions.
